Just got back home from Carterville, IL where we purchased a large collection of CDs to drop on all you music fanatics. This haul was chock full of great stuff. The man who sold it to us said he thought there was about 500 CDs in the collection, but it actually turned out — once we got it home and started going through it — that he greatly underestimated the number of CDs. There was actually closer to 1,000 CDs in this lot! Great for us, and great for you guys, too! Not only that, this haul is full of rare titles and imports. Most of it is R&B and Funk, but there is also New Wave, Rap, Broadway, Country, Jazz and Classic Rock. Everything from LL Cool J to Bernadette Peters. I’m partial to Funk, Punk and Classic Rock myself, so I’m blasting my stereo as I go through all this great stuff! Listening to Supertramp right now. Already listened to some Street People, Til Tuesday and Laura Lee. Plan to give The Brothers Johnson a try next. Never heard of them, but it looks like something I might like.

99% of this stuff is mint condition, but it is still going to take me a while to get it all processed, priced and uploaded.
