Deadpool Wolverine (Marvel Comics, 2024-)

launched the new ongoing series Deadpool/Wolverine in 2025, which teams the two title characters against the villain Stryfe. A separate, three-issue miniseries titled Wolverines & Deadpools, also ran in 2025 and featured their respective daughters.

• Plot overview: Deadpool is mysteriously pulled into a mission and brings an unaware Wolverine along. They discover that the villain Stryfe has returned and has a long-brewing plot that could destroy humanity.

  • Wolverine initially discovers that Deadpool has been mentally controlled by Stryfe.
  • Later issues reveal that the duo is forced to act as Stryfe’s “X-Cutioners” in his plan for “Legacy 2.0,” which threatens to end both human and mutant life.
  • The series leads to a confrontation with Apocalypse, with the fate of the world in the balance.
