This version takes place within Doom’s Battleworld, where a group of super-powered teens attend an elite academy designed to train the next generation of heroes. When they uncover the school’s dark secrets, they defy their instructors and flee across the strange, fractured world, living up once again to their name: the Runaways.
This incarnation features a mix of classic and new characters, including Molly Hayes, Jubilee, Bucky Barnes, Cloak and Dagger, Amadeus Cho, and Sanna. It captures the rebellious spirit of the original series with a fresh tone and dynamic, colorful art style.
